This is a Traveler Guitar Escape Mark III (often referred to as the MK3), an acoustic-electric travel guitar finished in natural satin.
Since you already own both the Ultra-Light Bass and the Ultra-Light Electric, this model completes the trio by offering a full acoustic experience in a highly portable package!
Scale Length: Despite its incredibly compact headless design (measuring just 30 inches overall), the Escape Mark III features a full 25.5-inch scale length. This means the string tension, fret spacing, and overall feel are identical to a standard full-size acoustic guitar.
Tonewoods: This specific version features an Alder body paired with a bolt-on Maple neck and a rosewood (or ebonized rosewood) fretboard.
In-Body Tuning: Like your other Traveler instruments, it uses their proprietary in-body tuning system. The strings anchor at the aluminum end-cap where the headstock would normally be, and route over the bridge to the tuning machines built directly into the body cutouts. It uses standard acoustic guitar strings, so you don't need to hunt for specialized replacements.
Unlike your passive Ultra-Light electric and bass models, the Escape Mark III is equipped with an active custom Shadow preamp system.
Headphone Amp: It features a built-in headphone amplifier, allowing you to plug headphones directly into the side of the guitar for totally silent practice in hotel rooms or on the road.
Aux-In: It includes a 1/8" aux-in jack so you can plug in your phone and play along to backing tracks.
Pickup: The sound is captured by a highly responsive Shadow NanoFlex undersaddle pickup. It also features a built-in chromatic tuner.
Retail Value: Brand new, these travel guitars typically retail for between $499 and $549.
Used Value: On the used market, assuming it is fully functional and includes the original custom gig bag, they generally hold a value of between $325 and $385.
